Machrihanish Holiday Park is a great base for those who want to explore Kintyre. The caravan site is located close to Campletown in Argyll and offers serviced touring and camping pitches and provide free Wi-Fi, spotless washing facilities, a shop, a launderette, crazy golf and a putting green.
Our modern two or three bedroom static caravans are available for short breaks or longer stays we also have static caravans for sale on site.
With views across Machrihanish bay to Islay and Jura, the caravan park offers stunning Kintyre scenery and a great choice of accommodation types. Sleeping up to five adults, with handy essentials such as a kettle, microwave, fridge and year-round heating, this is a great way to enjoy camping in Kintyre, whatever the weather’s like outside.
For a completely unique way to enjoy your Argyll holidays, our Wigwams offer a great value accommodation option. These timber cabins offer all the excitement of camping, with a few wee luxuries that make all the difference – we call it Glamping Argyll style. Set on prime sites of the holiday park, both the Big Wigwams and Wee Wigwams offer stunning views across the water. Sit at the picnic bench on the deck and watch the sun set on another amazing day in Kintyre. As a guest in our Wigwams you’ll enjoy access to the Camper’s Room where you’ll find a TV, fridge, freezer and a selection of books.
We also have spacious and well appointed static caravans to hire. Fully kitted out with everything you need to enjoy your caravan holiday to explore Kintyre, our statics are popular with families, groups of friends and couples. Almost all of our caravans feature an outside decking area for admiring our famous Kintyre sunsets and all are non-smoking. All Two-bedroom caravans have 1 x double and 1 x twin room, for up to 4 people Three-bedroom caravans have 1 x double and 2 x twin rooms, for up to 6 people.
Home of the famous golf links and one of the most idyllic settings on the Kintyre peninsula, Machrihanish offers panoramic views and stunning sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean. Visit the seabird observatory for a chance to find out more about the native bird life and some of the more exotic visitors to the peninsula.
A beautiful white sand beach stretches four miles from Machrihanish to West Port and offers some of the best surf in Scotland. Take a stroll along the shore and get up close to the colonies of seals that call this home. Back in the village, relax with a drink or dine out in The Old Clubhouse bar and restaurant, which serves home favourites and Scottish classics, seven days a week. The newly revamped Ugadale Hotel also serves meals in the Kintyre Club and features a spa.
