Description

Glendaruel Caravan Park is a relaxing and tranquil camping and caravanning park that can be found a short drive from Colintraive in Argyll. Our camping and caravanning park is perfect for those who enjoy walking, fishing, cycling, sailing and wildlife watching as we are nestled in the beautiful Cowal Peninsula.

Touring caravans and campers have both electric and non electric pitches available. Dogs are welcome on our site, so that the whole family can go away on holiday! We also support backpackers or cyclists with a 1 – 2 man tent and offer reduced rates.

As well as our touring facilities we also have a little camping lodge available. This is situated on the edge of the park and has open views up the glen. The lodge can sleep up to 4 people. There is electric lighting and heating as well as a TV & DVD player, microwave, kettle, toaster and electric sockets.

For those who don’t have their own caravan or want to have their own home from home comforts, the camping and caravanning park also has a 3 bedroom static caravan available. The caravan is spacious and comfortable with gas central heating, plenty of storage and shower facilities.

Within easy reach of the park, there are many things to see and do. In reception and the laundry you will find information files on eating out, walking, events and attractions. There is plenty of good walking and cycling accessible from the park. The clachan of Glendaruel is only 2 miles south and the single track West Glendaruel Road is quiet. Visit the play park, Kilmodan Church and view the Carved Stones in the Lapidarium. The neighbouring village of Colintraive has an award winning pub, The Scottish Sculpture Park and ferry to Bute where Mount Stuart House and Gardens are well worth a visit.
