Description

Pant Y Rhedyn is a 10-acre smallholding set in the hills of the Conwy Valley, where panoramic views stretch across unspoilt countryside to the Snowdonia mountain range. Ideally located, it sits within easy reach of the popular towns of Llanrwst and Llandudno, while Snowdonia National Park is just a short drive away.

The site offers a range of unique stays, including two spacious domes with high ceilings and a 5.8m diameter, comfortably furnished to sleep up to four people. Inside, guests can relax while taking in sweeping countryside views, sunsets and star-filled skies through the large panoramic window, or unwind beside the cosy log fire. Outside, each dome has its own campfire area, perfect for enjoying the fresh air.

For those who prefer a more traditional camping experience, there are just three large, private pitches set amongst wildflowers and meadow, each featuring its own eco compost toilet, campfire pit and picnic bench, providing a peaceful and back-to-nature feel with added comfort.

For something truly distinctive, Fern, a beautifully converted 1994 Volkswagen horsebox, offers a secluded glamping stay for two. Set apart from the main site with its own gated entrance, garden and decking overlooking the alpaca paddock and mountains, it also features a private wood-fired hot tub, ideal for relaxing while watching the sunset. Inside, it includes a double bed, optional sofa bed, and all essential amenities such as a kitchen, shower and toilet, creating a cosy and self-contained retreat. While the camping pitches are non-electric, guests have access to a communal area with charging points, a fridge, freezer, washing-up facilities, a small shop, games and local information, as well as a large hot-powered shower included for campers.

Guests can also enjoy meeting the friendly on-site animals, including alpacas, pigs, sheep and hens, all of which are a much-loved part of the experience.

We are a no car site however you are able to drive on at arrival and departure for luggage drop off and pick up at the pitches.

Trofarth in Conwy is ideally placed for exploring some of North Wales’ most beautiful attractions. Just a short drive away, you’ll find the historic market town of Llanrwst and the popular seaside resort of Llandudno, known for its Victorian promenade and pier. The breathtaking landscapes of Snowdonia National Park are also nearby, offering endless opportunities for walking, hiking and scenic drives. Visitors can explore landmarks such as Conwy Castle and the charming walled town of Conwy, or enjoy tranquil countryside views, waterfalls and forest trails throughout the Conwy Valley.
