Heritage Coast Campsite is a peaceful, highly rated adults-only camping destination set along the stunning Heritage Coast in the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales. Open from the 1st of April until the end of October (weather dependent), this 4-star site offers level grass pitches for tents, campervans and motorhomes, ideal for guests looking to relax, unwind and reconnect with nature away from the rush of everyday life.
Surrounded by rolling countryside and dramatic coastal scenery with views towards the Bristol Channel, the campsite is perfectly placed for scenic walks and exploring hidden coves, including woodland routes leading to Cwm Nash Beach. It’s a fantastic base for walkers, nature lovers and those seeking a tranquil coastal escape.
On-site facilities include clean toilets and showers, a wheelchair-accessible wet room, washing-up area, free Wi-Fi and fire pits available for hire. Please note, there is no chemical waste disposal. At the weekends, guests can also enjoy refreshments and breakfasts at Teddy’s Espresso Bar and Kitchen, while a friendly country pub is within walking distance.
In addition to camping, Scandinavian-style lodges with hot tubs are available for a more luxurious stay.
Heritage Coast Campsite also offers a unique outdoor wedding venue, ideal for couples who want a truly personalised celebration with uninterrupted coastal and countryside views. The wedding area includes two adjoining paddocks totalling around seven acres, with a Brook Paddock perfect for marquees and atmospheric photos and exclusive use of the whole site included in your package. On-site accommodation options include Scandinavian-style cottages and camping for guests and the team can recommend marquee hire, catering, entertainment and other wedding professionals to help bring your dream day to life in this beautiful location.
The surrounding area offers superb coastal walks, beaches, local pubs and charming towns to explore, with Cardiff and Swansea both within easy driving distance, making this an excellent location for a relaxing Welsh countryside and coast break. There is a bus route which runs past our site and can take you to other beaches until 11pm.
